I like it. Fold to any aggression. Even if he pushes and you fold, it just sets you up for later when you have KK here and he thinks he can easily move you off your hand.

What's your betsize on the flop with AA? More than $10? Bet that amount here and fold to aggression.

do wut ever u do if u have QQ+ against this villian. prolly depends on his flop play alot here.

my standard after i 3 bet preflop is to cbet about half poit regardless basically. so i pretty much always do that whether i hold AK or AA or 88. my only change is if i hit a monter (or tptk with AK) i will sometimes change it up and check to induce him to try to push me off my hand thinking i am playing JJ or QQ this way and am scrrrrd of the over card that hit.

Your bet size is way weaksauce here IMO. You are puting your hand fae up here IMO

I think this is fine, you should get a fold from missed pocket pairs and overcards. If he calls, I'm never firing a 2nd barrel without a super read.

Interesting, I was thinking that it won't matter if we bet 10 or 15. What hands do you think he'll fold to 15 (or whatever bet size you would advocate) that he doesn't fold to 10?

I bet $10 because this is an extremely dry, uncoordinated board. If I had AA/KK, I'd want a call and have nothing to protect against. Why would I bet full pot?

AMJ,

is 10 your standard bet? I think if thats your standard its ok, but a low standard IMO. Your bet to me just screams missed 3 bet.

If you had AA, 3-bet pre, and got this ultra-dry flop, why would you bet more than 2/3 pot?

Value?

Oh, and discourage LAGs with JT from trying to hit their 5 outer by cutting down on their implied odds.

I disagree, I think this is a good bet size in a re-raised pot on a dry board like this. Unless you are against a total donk, I think it is bad to bet much more with this hand, or with AA here. Actually, if your opponents are not paying much attentiton, may be you should be t like $13 here to make it more likely to get a fold, but I think $10 is fine.

Why would you want to discourage JT from calling? that is exactly the type of hand you want to call with AA. The only reason I think this is interesting, is because at 50NL, should you bet a little bit more when you want a fold, and then if there is a decent TAG that might have noticed this, bet bigger for value too. In general I think any bet here from 10-13 is fine, and should be standard for this texture of flop.

i always thought a standard cbet in a reraised pot was typically around 2/3 pot?? i think a 10 dollar bet looks rather large to most 50nlers and will get the job done just fine. as long as u play AA or KK the same (which i do) then i dont seen why this is bad? potting or near pot bet in a reraised pot seems like over kill to me.
