Villain was LAG PF, but slightly less than aggro post-flop. (38/26/1.5) Comments appreciated, results later.

I'd put him on something like a combo draw.. KQ.. JQ you're probably ahead right now, but not by a lot.

Where was the question?

Whats the sample size on the stats? This spot sucks. As played youre obviously praying he has some kind of combo draw here. I'd call bc the b3b AI line is super standard from a draw. I think if he flopped something big here (top 2/set of TTT/straight), he go for a c/r assuming that you cbet a lot. I think I'd call.

You know you're only 60/40 against AK? And in real trouble against set/straight/combodraw. The flop raise is a no brainer - totally repping TPTK. His 3-bet make me think he has at least TPTK, probably better.

I haven't learned to fold in the situation yet, but I think its the right decision.

The 3bet indicates strength - together with his agression stats I think I fold and look for a better spot.
But maybe I don't like variance.

I sometimes overthink and give players too much credit...

But aren't most players going to realize that the flop is bound to have hit a lot of the range of hands that people will raise with? And if so, for him to donk bet into is very like a sign of strength?

when he 3 bets I think you're definitely in bad shape. I feel a fold is the right thing but not sure I would actually do it in the heat of the moment. Though if I call I'm feeling ugly about it.

Would you call him with AK here? because your hand is of similar strength. Especially since he probably doesn't have AK, because he would re-raise with that preflop with his stats. I think you should let this one go when he 3-bets.

Tough spot but I think I can find a fold. It changes to a call if villain thinks you're stealing from the CO and/or he would push combo draws a lot. Given your read of him being less aggro post, I dump it.
