I am learning that its best to play your good draws very aggresivly and even call all ins if u have a strong draw. I felt this would normally be a good siatuiton to do that with 2 overs, nut flush and gutshot straight draw, however i folded because i didnt think i had the pot odds to call here. what do u you all think? i had to call 13.7 and the pot was 22

easy call really, you're about 1.9:1 against hitting your flush, some of the time your A will be an out making you a slight underdog and sometimes your A and Q will be outs making you a favourite. You are getting 1.6:1. You should have called.

why not even 2:1 money? im probably behind now, and ill only hit the flush like what 30% on turn or river? maybe lke 35% with king and ill get a straight. i thought u need muchmore thne 2:1 for that

Bet $3 on the flop and call a push.

learn your odds my friend, with your K you have 12 outs that makes you 1.2:1 (45%) against, if your A is an out you now have 15 outs making you favourite (0.8:1) and if your Q is an out you have 18 outs making you 0.6:1. You definitely have the odds.

Simple rule: when you've got a combodraw (15 or more outs) most of the time you can push / call a push on the flop.

I told my dad this when he was learning NLHE "when you are counting outs and run out of fingers push."

Its a little over simplified but I like it.

OP,

Call.

vs a set, you are behind 2:1 (33% chance to win)
vs 2p you are behind 1.25:1 (44% chance to win)
vs TPTK you are ahead 1.16 (54% chance to win)
vs combo draw (Ts 9s) you are ahead 1.25:1 (56% chance to win)
vs overpair you are a coinflip (50% chance to win)

Pot odds are call $13.70 to win $22.75 so you need to have a 40% chance to win or better to call. Unless you know for sure he has the set, you have the odds to call vs his range.

This is a +EV call.

Yeah, seriously. I type for like 15 minutes and as soon as I post I realize I did all the math as if its the turn. *sigh*

Bad math. I had it right the first time. Its actually call $13.70 to win $36.45 so you need to have a 38% chance to win or better to call.

Yes... you had more than a few outs there. I was put in a similar situation in a live game just a week ago and made the call. In retro spect it wasn't so great because I lost but I had a lot of outs to his two pair.

I don't feel the need to elaborate too much because of all the solid feeback you've already received, however one quick tip for calculating your percent to win the pot: *On the flop* multiply the numbers of outs you have by four, so in this case, assuming he's holding a hand like AJ, you have 15 outs * 4 = ~60% (On the turn multiply by two instead of four). This trick becomes slightly less accurate as the number of outs you have exceeds 16 or 17, although it's still a great way to know where you stand on the spot.

You have 12 outs to the immortal nuts with two cards to come, and as many as 6 additional overcard outs.

Get it in there.
