Hero...

Would you take a lead at this flop to see where you're at or just go for the standard c/f line?

Since BTN PFRed over 10% of his stack I think c/fold is best as I doubt he's folding to a lead.

I am thinking he could have a wider 3-bet range from the button against a CO open raiser. Do you think he would be calling my flop lead with hands like AJ, AQ, AT?

Say he calls your flop lead with Aj+, whats your turn play?
if you bet again you get a big pot before u findout where u stand and if u c/call u don;t know where u stand to.

I can't put him on a hand rnge we beat, don't have positon, and with a meh hand so just c/fold.

If he checks flop, and non- spade I lead BTW.

If he calls the flop with AJ+ were obviously in a tough spot, but against a fairly solid player I don't think that should be happening too much. From this idea I could derrive that if villain is playing straightforward this move is +EV.
I highly doubt I could double barrel a blank on the turn.
I do however think we have an edge against villains 3bet range from the BTN against an open raiser in the CO.
