I will post two premium hands, since I think it might be interesting to see them together. I have a bit of a problem playing these hands correctly, and I would love some input.

Here we go. No reads on villain.

UTG ($5.70)
MP ($44.90)
CO ($91.18)
Button ($40.24)
Hero ($49.50)
BB ($45.05)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises to $3.75</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP folds, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $13.5</font>, Hero calls $9.50.

Flop: ($28) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, CO calls $91.18 (All-In), Hero calls $49.25 (All-In).

I called his bet preflop because I didn't want to represent QQ/KK/AA, scaring away weaker hands. I also question the bet on the flop. Should I have check-folded (or check-called a reasonably sized bet)?

Not much later I'm 3-betting this guy (30/16/1.4) with QQ. Any comments? How far down with the pocket pairs scale do I call his bet?

SB ($62.45)
BB ($131.76)
UTG ($57.55)
Hero ($49.45)
Button ($116.76)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $7</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, UTG calls $5.

Flop: ($14.75) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $10</font>, UTG calls $57.55 (All-In), Hero calls $49.45 (All-In).

All comments are welcome! I hope it's not confusing that I'm posting two hands together like this (tell me if it is)!

Thank you!

Edit: I found a third hand which might be interesting. Villain is 60/16/1.0 over 150 hands.

SB ($21.60)

I have the same issues and I was going to make the same post, so take this for what it is worth.

Hand #1 - I'm not smart enough to make this flop decision so I would have pushed pre flop when you were re-raised.

Hand #2 - No idea. Considering his pre flop raising range, What would he push on the flop? I think he would wait on 8's or 4's. I don't think he would make it with AK-AQ or the like because of his low post flop agg #. I believe it is TT-AA with a possibilty of A8s. Flip a coin.

Hand #3

I would raise the flop to about $10 and listen.

The first thing that strikes me is that hand 2 doesn't really fit in with the other 2. I think that is played fine.

The annoying thing, to me, about hand 1 and 3 is that the villains are playing them SO completely like donkeys being "sneaky" with big hands. But to make that conclusion we also have to grant that they are in fact huge donkeys that suck at poker, and that seems to widen their ranges right back up again.

Not very helpful am I?

Personally I'm going broke in hand 1, either preflop or c/r all in on the flop. I can't find any major problem with how you played it though, and yet I'll be very surprised if you had the best hand.

Hand 2 I play exactly the same.

Hand 3 I raise the flop and fold to the min 3 bet. But I don't have to like it.
