Villain had a big stack when I sat down and we mostly stayed out of each other's way. He was 17/10/7. Comments appreciated.

I c-bet the flop and shut it down with any resistance.

I think that a fold to the turn raise is fine as is taking a stab on the turn as you did. You could be drawing dead there.

Also, I like the flop check. Monotone flops I think are bad for cbetting and building a pot with this hand is not a winning play, it cannot stand much heat.

I call the turn if my heart was an offensive heart. You have a defensive heart, and no real made hand. Ill almost always dump it on the turn. Reverse implied odds here.
