Raise PF? Hmmm....I dont know why but I am tempted to shove the turn.

Raise preflop for two reasons: you have position, you can take the pot down with a c-bet. I think you played your hand a bit too passively with all of the calling. If you find yourself doing a lot of calling preflop or postflop you know you're doing something wrong.

They suck even worse when they do hit and the SB was on the same, but higher draw. With 17 outs, it looks like the turn was worth the call based on pot odds alone. I'd have probably done the same.

Preflop can be a fold, call, or raise depending on table, villains, and situation. Different preflop lines will make the rest of the hand play out differently. With the limp this is how it goes down. Standard.

With all the draws out there, I think there is a lot of weakness in this hand shown by all this calling. I do not see anyone having two pair or a set.

Because of this, I agree with EmC and I shove when it comes to me on the turn. I think with the price of the raise we are going to have the fold equity we need to make it +EV (I'm no Pokey, so i am not doing the math here to back that up, but feel it would proven true). I think if they have AT here they are going to have a hard time calling this bet, which is around where I put the aggressor.

I'll take the $28 pot here anytime with no showdown.

wally,

Heres what I see when I see pokey math.

I raise this PF.

Why is everyone saying flatcall flop and shove turn? I'd much rather raise the flop here while I probably still have a lot of equity, especially considering that CO might have your draw dominated.

Now that I look at it, im probably raising the flop and then shoving this turn with what I have left.

Raising the flop is going to create more commitment to the pot by some. Are saying that will be balanced by us showing aggression on two streets to give us the fold equity we need and the remainder of the value coming from when we get called and hit one of our many outs?

I dunno...I have a bad feeling that he's nott he only one with the flush draw....anyone else think this also?

Look at BB's actions in this hand.

Led flop for pot into 3 villians.
Led turn for 9/10 of pot into 3 villians.
Led river for 1/3 pot into 2 villians - value bet.

This is at least over pair if not set/boat and he's pretty sure he's facing two busted draws on the river, so you aren't going to bluff the river.

On the turn the 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif doesn't scare him (it doesn't complete a str8) so I don't see him folding to a push there either.

I agree...great odds to draw on every street and just missed. The flop might be a raise but with a multiway there's no harm in a call.

fold turn. raise flop if you wanna play.

raise preflop, given that we didn't raise pre - we ought tobe raising the flop here I think.

we do NOT want to play the turn 4ways. What happens if a /images/graemlins/heart.gif hits the turn? - if the turn is HU then we can take the baby flush to the felt - if it's multiway we are almost certainly beat.

HU on that turn I'm shoving the rest of my chips in (after raising pre and leading flop), as played pot odds are sweet enough to call and hope to hit but /images/graemlins/heart.gif's aren't gonna be good for us often here.

BB almost def has a small set or a goofy 2pair he can't have an overpair very often unless he's a class A loon - who overlimps OOP preflop into a family fun fest with JJ+??
