Villain was 44/8/3.3. I had been bullying him from the button. Is 88 good enough to call with here?

It's a high variance play as you will often be up against overcards. The time she has a smaller PP will be balanced by the times he has 99+. Without a read, calling is +EV. The more his range becomes wider than AK and PPs, the more I like the call.

This is gonna be Ax a lot of times, and I think the x will be 8 and lower enough for this to be better than you on the good side of a coin flip overall. So instacall.
