They will run their 50% bonus on profits through 2006. This means $1000 per month, $12'000 per year ! You need to win money on a regular basis though, but if you're a serious player, what an easy bonus !

Yes I have seen it. It is very interesting but how do you know that they will run it through 2006?

You can get both the bonus and the unmentionable at the same time!

I won 1250$ in december, and had my 625$ bonus on the 1th of january... GOOD DEAL ! Everytime you win 1$ in this room, it's 1.5$! Of course, you've got to win... but that's cool.

This site is rated #1 by people with very few posts, especially if 80%+ of their posts are Codepoker related!

If you don't believe I won these 1250$, give me a tabble name, a meeting time and let's play some cards! Heads up

I play on battlefield and party nearly exclusively for 100 (and now 200) 6max nl. Party gets the majority of my play as the interface is very smooth and has a billion tables at all the right hours. If I'm going to play at prima, I hit it during the day if I can (around 10am to 6pm on average). There are two pros, in my opinion: a) the table selection is very good in my opinion, with several 50+ vPIPers who don't have a clue (at all other hours this goes way downhill), and b) you get an obscenely high % of rakeback (you can find 50 or so if you look) which you need at nl). There are two other big problems with it, in my opinion: a) the interface is absolutely ghastly for nl in my opinion, and b) an overabundance of shortstacked opponents. Take that for what its worth.

p.s. no pms about rakeback pls /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Can any of the vets (i.e. playersare) comment on this bonus? I'm not much of a bonus whore but if this is as it appears to be it seems like an easy grand every month.

EDIT: Yikes. I just contacted their support by telephone in order to clarify a few points. The guy I spoke to was frighteningly oblivious to what I was asking.

I was asking for clarification on how SnG play applies to this Gold Bonus.

Under the first point in their T&C it states:

1) To qualify for the Gold Membership level 1, a minimum of 1500 raked hands must be played during the month of January. The Gold Membership level 2 needs a minimum of 2500 raked hands and level 3 a minimum of 4500 raked hands...

You must be a level 3 in order to collect the full $1000. I figured that since it was based on raked hands, SnG play would not be eligible for this bonus. However point 6 states:

6)... In particular, winnings derived from 1 on 1 tables and tables where the amount of players is less than 3 as well as any Sit & Go tables shall be strongly monitored and may be totally deducted from the Profit at the sole discretion of CodePoker...

So SnGs DO apply towards this bonus. But how do I move up the levels if raked hands must be accumualated?

I call support and speak to... I forget his name so from here on out he shall be known as The Lad.

I asked The Lad if tourney play counted towards moving up these levels. Initially he stated no - ring games only. Then upon checking the T&Cs The Lad reconsidered and stated that yes tourney play did apply. I asked The Lad how this was so, seeing as levels are earned by way of raked hands. He responded by educating me on the ongoing battle their site was having with colluders on the SnGs. It was scary stuff - methinks it may be time to give up online poker altogether. I mean if Codepoker can't get a handle on it...

So again I redirected him to the question at hand - how do SnGs apply to the Gold Levels? He paused and then stated that I should probably stick to the ring games. I could then just use tourneys to "add a different kind of excitement to my experience".

I didn't have it in me to pursue this any further. I thanked The Lad for his help and hung up the phone.

It's conversations like this that make the baby Jesus cry.

I wouldn't worry too much about on-line colluding. First, the customer service rep was typically clueless, so he may have heard something about collusion somewhere and just blew it all out of proportion.

Second, this particular bonus is ripe for collusion, more so than regular play. Get 10 people together and have them all enter the same high-level SNG together. (I've seen the $100 SNG sitting empty for quite some time at Prima, so getting all 10 of your guys in shouldn't be a problem, unlike at PP or Stars). Then just play normal poker. The winners get 50% on top of that, which they then split with the group. Seems like a lot of work for $100 each, but that's a months pay or something in China or Indonesia or wherever they have these poker sweatshops. This would work well for HU play as well.

I'm not overly worried about collusion - just having some fun at the reps expense.

His incompetence however was the real thing.

I will probably do this bonus in February. Doesn't look like it would be very difficult - hopefully easy money. I'd like some input from other though. The only poster touting it's virtues is guage666 who is likely a shill for the site.

The dude has nine posts mostly about Codepoker - and one more with a link to an affiliate code loaded casino bonus site. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I play on Code since a while now. I've posted this info each month as it was renewed each month. I wasn't able to clear the whole bonus each month, but overall I received around $3000 in bonus. I play tight on 0.5-1 NL games on 4 tables to reach the required number of raked hands and then I go to bigger tables or S&G or tournaments to get the money. It works pretty well and they never missed any payments. That is why I think it is an easy bonus but not for everyone.

i just wish it was easier to type in Raise Amounts (without having to hit enter) because while playing many tables, the slider isn't always the best option.
