Bet $4.5 on flop plz. Bet $10 on turn. As played, $20 on river and he will call you with an A.

You played it fine. The bets you made were high enough to prevent someone from chasing a flush.

The ace on the river sucks. I don't think a value bet will do any good here, since you'll only get called by something better IMO. I would check it through and call his bet since your inducing a bluff on a mised flush.

So why is the ace on the river bad? Villain obv. has the A of hearts. I may c/r here actually...

Id either bet a decent amount or c/r. He v well could have A of hearts, something like A/images/graemlins/heart.gifJ/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gifQ/images/graemlins/club.gif

We obv have no idea on how this guy plays, but if he flopped a Khigh or A high flush, so be it. I think you see something by the turn at least if he has it, unless he is scared stupid with a low flush (or has one of the high flushes).

If he has Ace hearts, he gonna call this river for sure at this level Id think.

Check/Call river. He will bet a lot that you have beat, whereas, if you give him the chance he wil reraise to bluff or show you a better hand.

Other than that, bet a little more on both previous streets but I would be hardpressed to fold here.

say he bets 15 on the river if we check to him, we are pretty much puttin him all in if we go with a c/r.

if you bet 20 and he comes over the top its less than a mini raise.

if hes going to reraise bluff, on either of these with what he has left, I say gravitos because hes got a huge swinging sack for balls, even if he doesnt have much to back it up (or much upstairs). Deeper stacks, little different.

Thats why you check to him and hope he has a worse hand. I dont see hero folding here very often, IMHO.
