View Full Version : How much $ did you make from bonuses last year?

Ron Burgundy
02-04-2007, 11:29 AM
I'm talking about poker, casinos and sportsbooks combined. I made $13.5K. This is a significant decline from 2005 when I made $19.4K. I predict that number will go even lower this year, now that US players have fewer sites to play, and thus fewer bonuses. I'm estimating $6-8K this year.

I really miss the Cryptos. /images/graemlins/frown.gif Now I actually have to be good at poker to make a living.

For people who keep track of these numbers, have you noticed a similar decline?

I Didn't keep accurate records untill about 1/2 way through 2005

But I made about $17k from bonuses in 2006, and about $1.5k from actually playing poker!

About 6700

Just under 2K from Casinos (including the 1K from Mansion on the Steelers promo) and the remainder from poker

I'm aiming for around $4K this year only as I find the Casino chases boring as hell and am only sticking to poker. Unfortunately the poker bonuses are drying up compared to previous years as well. I'm Canadian so I can still do the Cryptos, but that would be a last resort

My numbers aren't quite so telling because I started casino whoring in the middle of 2005. $10k in 2005, and $12k in 2006. If 2005 had been a full year, it would've obviously been much larger.

I've quit casino whoring altogether and with money tied up in NETeller and difficulty moving money from site to site, I don't plan on trying any new casinos or poker sites. I estimate this year that probably 90-95% of my gambling income will come strictly from playing poker (and rakeback) and maybe 5-10% (and even this is optimistic) will come from bonuses.

$15,500 from poker, casinos, and sportsbook bonuses/arbs although Neteller has about $5000 of that now.

I've been making the bonus/rakeback transition due to equal parts desire/necessity. 2005 was 11K/4K while 2006 was 5K/32K. I expect the trend to continue as well due to lack of bonuses/lack of ways to move money around efficiently to get the bonuses that are available.

I gained about $40k through my casino play last year. I did not play poker or sportsbook significantly. I plan to get more into poker this year.

$3600 in bonuses and $28.6K in prop pay last year. $5400 in bonuses and $54K in prop pay in 2005.

40K from casino bonuses and a +EV deuces wild machine that is no longer available (30K from bonuses alone)

20K from sportsbetting (bonuses and straight betting)

-3K from poker (I used to be good until casinowhoring ruined me /images/graemlins/frown.gif)

$13520 Poker only. Don't do casinos and never kept track of sportsbooks.

Be surprised if I make 1/2 that this year as I don't do Absolute and UB any more.

I made around 5500 $ last Year from casinos and poker combined. Most of it from bonuses.
I expect to make more this Year as I made around 650$ in January.

But it is only a hobby for me. I work full time in IT business.

The largest I bet is $3 a hand.

A large chunk of last years profit for me came from the "clearplay" Baccarat+roulette system, which I've pretty much all used up now. I've also been bonus banned at most of the good monthlies, 32red etc, casinoeuro group, So I'm expecting a much tougher year this year for bonuses.

Although I'm sure if we keep our eyes open some +ev deals will surface.

It's funny because the average poster in here is so absolutely and hopelessly clueless. Most of them can't even figure out elementary stuff I had determined within the first week. I seriously come here to read threads everytime I get remotely concerned about bonusing and am reminded of the sheer idiocy of most online gamblers whether they are advantage players or not.

Well, I checked my records, and it seems that I made a little over $47k last year from a mix of bonuses (sports, casino, poker and cashback). I figure, if I was really focused, and put more time into this, I could make six figures off bonuses alone.

Being based in the UK, I haven't noticed any significant drop in bonuses between last year and this year; only a differance in the type of bonuses available. For example, there are much fewer decent blackjack bonuses; but in correlation, there has been a rise in video poker bonuses and casino account cashback offers.

The landscape of online gambling is changing, and has been ever changing over the past 3-5 years. You simply need to adapt, keep studying, and keep on top of the latest information.
