Villian is a donk. He is loose and aggressive preflop (50/32) and is known to commit his stack with marginal hands on wet boards (AF of 6), I have 45 hands with him. I discussed this hand with skillzilla. One of us thought that this is a 3-bet preflop to make him pay to draw out on us with Ax and that sort of crap, the other that this is a call so that we don't force these holdings out the times we hit a set and we want to stack him. Who is right agains this type of player?

Definitely 3bet this since villain is on a steal a large amount of the time, so you likely make nothing after the flop when you are ahead unless you flop a set against top pair or something.

Easy 3bet.

yeah definitly reraise against this player, consider also that you have much better chance to stack him in raised pot.

You likely have the best hand and you'll have position on all streets. 3bet.

uhhh yeah I call cause he'll stack off in a single raised pot with marginal hands? If he was tight/aggro postflop then I'd 3bet....

I think the 3bet is easy enough. The question is what if he reraises.
