I have trouble putting LAG's on any sort of range. Is this river fold standard?

If you can't read his hand why are you so sure you're beat?

Looks like you induced a bet then folded to it, which is weak. I think I'd prefer a blocking bet or a call to pick off a bluff here.

You may have folded the worst hand here; its not a terrible fold. But don't get in the habit of c/f-ing when a scare card hits or else the LAGs will run over you all day long.

I agree...you're putting yourself in a really bad spot here by checking the river...if im you, im probably betting 13ish and folding a raise.

First of all, I don't really like your flop / turn bets. I prefer pot or very close to it on the flop and pretty close to pot on the turn. In this case I would have bet $4.50 on the flop, making the pot $13.75 (before rake) on the turn, and then $12ish on the turn. As played, I bet at least $10 on the turn, 2/3 pot doesn't really cut when an ace, a J, a 9, a T and any spade are scare cards.

As played, check-fold is a REALLY weak line on the river against a LAG with an overpair that's very often good despite the flush coming in. I like either a bet-fold (bet $15ish, maybe a little more), or, probably better against a LAG, a check-call.

Betting accomplishes a few things that checking doesnt:
-Gets money in when you're ahead
-Tells you when you're beat (You get raised)
-Gets value from hands that might otherwise check behind

Checking also gets value from bluffs that would have folded to a bet, and prevents us from getting bluff-raised off the best hand. There are definitely arguments for either line here. With a stronger hand than one pair, betting is probably best, but with just an overpair against a LAG, I like a check.
