Made the large PF raise as there were a couple of players with light calling standards. No reads on MP2

depends on how much you can handle variance.

personally, i enjoy jamming draws and playing fairly aggressively in position. so i 3-bet here to $22-25 and call a shove. think about what he limp/calls here - big pair? probably not. small pair? perhaps. however, im thinking that if he limp/calls a 9xBB raise PF, he's checking any set on the flop.

theres a small chance, if he really sucks, that he has a big pair here. personally though, i love to put pressure on by raising flop/calling a shove on flop. in the situation where he flat calls flop/shoves turn i may rethink (any non heart), but if he checks to me im all in.

If he has no set, you have at least 12 outs. If he does that with KJ, you have 15 outs. I think I push here most times.

MP2 checks, Hero????

I raised representing an overpair hoping he was testing the water with a mid PP or maybe QJ/KJ. He calls and no help on the turn. Whats would you do here after he checks?

Dont think it necceserily implies weakness as he could be hoping I do the betting for him if he's trapping, but would he bet a monster into me on the flop? I was stuck!

I can't see a push on the turn being bad. Checking behind is good as well.

What is he calling 1/3 of his stack off with on the flop that he's gonna fold on the turn? I just don't see how it's profitable to shove turn.

I just don't see what he calls the flop with that he's calling a turn shove with. (Assuming he's decent and logical i.e. why would he call the flop with AJ and then check call an AI)

You're probably right though, checking is probably better.

Donkeys play sets like this all the time. They let you bet for them.

Final Pot: $100.25

Shame I ended up with ace high but made river decision easy lol.

I think I played it okay judging from the replies. Didnt shove the flop as looking for lower variance at the moment.

Knowing how far to push good draws is something I need to work on so i'll prob post more of these soon!
Thanks for comments.
