I 3barreled for the second time this year; good?

Usually I'm a little girl about 3barreling and hardly ever do it, but I felt like the board texture combined with his range (I feel like he has downie pairs a lot - something like A8, 77, etc - or missed draws like 76) combined with the turn and river cards might make this a good spot to do it. Thoughts?

Villain is 27/10/2.1, not much history that I can remember.

I find triple barreling to essentially be read dependant, so more power to you. You're right in that it is good texture to do it with.

I agree that it's pretty read/stat dependant, but if I ever saw a spot to do it, this looks pretty doggone new. I should preface that I'm new to SH though. Still, looks like a good spot.

I triple barreled earlier today, and it takes a lot of balls to do. Of course, it's immensely satisfying when it works. It's just so hard to count on micro limits folding, though. You could never three barrel bluff at the micros and be just fine, though, and it's a situation you'll rarely come across, so it is what it is.

I only 3 barrel to send a message STOP FLOATING ME SO MUCH, usually i dont care if i get called, ive only done it once so far this year. i decided before i got my cards next time we were heads up he was getting 3 barrells.

he ended up letting the timer run down on the river before folding. Only thing that sucks is my hands auto muck and he didnt believe i had the stones for it when i berated him in chat for being a nit.
