What was the deal with him playing a ton of $5000 hu sngs in the past 3 months or so. I went 3-4 with him but everyone else I saw that played him got crushed, like 2-8. The guy might be a fish in 2k nl but he is going something right at hu.

all i know his that he has a good sized BR from the WCOOP main event finish, i wonder how his BR is holding up

I'm a RL friend, seems like he does pretty well in 10-20 NL and has had some big swings in $5ks but has done well overall and very well against some players like Fiery said (especially t soprano).

what'd he place at WCOOP main event? i remember watching that event but dont remember him... musta busted like 7-10?

yes bug but he was responsible for b buddy leaving that evening by saying ship it or something to that effect

Speaking of WCOOP, anyone heard any news about 2006? I know it's early, but I read somewhere that the main event is going to be even juicier than this year's. I'm already figuring on setting $500 or so back in an attempt to qualify for it...

no, but on the day of wcoop main event he was shoving on practically every hand at 10/20 nl across a few sites, in particular I believe he had 20k on a stars table and made things rather interesting. I was too busy busting to watch some of it.

If I remember correctly, he was playing high stakes on stars before his WCOOP cash.

Yea, I met the guy at a 5/10 game at a casino last year, before his big tourney score, and he was playing 10/20 NL on stars. Turns out he lives near me. But he busted out of the game early and it was like the easiest game ever.
