Is my PokerStars account safe?

Forgive my ignorance on these legislative matters. I am a bit confused. I am a US citizen and deposited a few hundred into PokerStars via my credit card (a MC debit card) about a month ago. I won a smallish tourney and now am a bit concerned about being able to take the money out. I don't want to withdraw it prematurely if I don't have to. Am I already screwed? Is there a date when PS won't be able to send me a check?

Sure your money is safe. The only problem being that the way things are going you won't be able to withdraw. But, being able to sleep at night knowing your money is safe is 'priceless'.

Your money is safe.. Stars isn't going anywhere. Worst case scenario is you might have to spend a couple weeks jumping through hoops to get it out (waiting for checks, creating new ewallet accounts, etc.).
