Experience is both. You experience your surroundings (nuture) and deal with it according to your nature at the time.

Lack of omnipotence is an unnecessarily complex answer to why there is morality. Morality comes about precisely from the need to unify large groups. With a tolerance of rape, murder, theft, etc. this unification rarely takes place or - if it does - eventually breaks back down into its individual parts. Soon2bepro is right, without the advent of society humans never would have developed the abstract concoction of morality that it is today. We will always do what's best for our survival. In today's world that means playing by society's rules.
