played for 5 hours, placed in the 90's for 130 bucks.

Good thing I won some money on the side games or else this was waste of time, and I had to get superlucky to make it even that far.

I think it was like 5400 entrants.

Don't let all the nay sayers get you down. I ADDED this to my normal play and made it a couple tiers into the money. I was happy about my performance (considering the cards I got).

However, there are aspects of the new VIP system that I am not thrilled about, but there is really not much I can do about that. You guys make the rules, and all I can really do is play by them.

Having said that, thanks for the game.

I cannot stop complaining about pokestars.

It seems as though everything they have done in the new year has been bad.

The new Elite program - Bad - I predict less than 3 American players reach elite level. Seems pretty rediculous to me that they make a level that less than .0001 of players can reach ? Is there a point to this ? The answer is yes. The point is to get a large group of players to strive for the goal in the first 3 or so months and then burn out and quit, all the while stars rakes in the money

2. The free roll tournaments. First off the 20,000 freeroll which is really like a 12,000 free roll considering the amount of FPP's in the prizepool because of the 100fpp buy in. Second , the 100k which had 5400 people in it what is that a 18 dollar value ? Wow thats exciting !!!!

3. The only reasonable free roll is the nova at 50k for 900 players and is still nothing great.


Now to some of you who say " well I will just play my side games anyways while i play the donkaments.

I say the side games are useless considering all the thousands of VIP players which are usually the best players at stars are all online at the same time doing the same thing your doing leading to tables with flops seen percentages of under 13%.


I commend all of you optomists out there who continue not to see the drop in the poker world.

And some of you might be good enough so that this decrease in game quality hasnt decreased your income, but you are some of the scarse few.

I have data for the last 50k of hands in my pokertracker and the top pros in the 5-10 Full ring fixed Limit holdem game and it is depressing looking at the win rates.

Only 1 player that is still averaging over a 1.00 bb per 100 rate.

So many others are coming close to even, without count the FPP bonuses they would all be losing players.


Eventual outcome will be that the games under 10-20 will not be beatable due to rake.


I think forums like 2+2 got too big, too many good/solid players out there nowadays and with no partypoker so seperate the herd we are all bunched together at stars punching each other in the face while stars sits and watches round after round after round after round.


Im glad I have the luxury of the best live casino in the world at my fingertips or else I would be toast.


I would also like to thank the American goverment because we have absoloutly no problems in our country, and the people in power have so much time to spare to go after the poker world. This is much more important than finding Bin Laden or possibly ending the civil war that we started in Iraq, or the civil war were about to start in Lebanon. NO ofcourse not going after online poker is much more important that those issues.
