I believe it depends on severity of the felony, and how long ago it happened. Not 100% positive though.

I would like to know more on this topic as well. I've got a conspiracy felony from 6.5 years ago. I plan on applying for a passport soon, I'm wondering if this will stop me.

The passport application lists very specific offenses. Other felonies will not prevent you from obtaining a passport.

How about to get citizenship in another country, Maybe Thailand, would a felony prevent me from be allowed to become a citizen somewhere else?

First off, Thailand will never grant you citizenship with or without a felony conviction. It's almost impossible to become an Thai citizen without actually being Thai.
You would be much better off trying to become a citizen of Panama or a whole host of other countries that only require massive financial assets and a willingness to purchase property in that country.
