FT NL 100, 6-max, 6-handed

Mrs. epdaws: "If I show you this hand you can't call me weak-tight."

Me: "That's not a fair ground rule."

Reads: "He was like a 21/10/2.3 typical loser."

Effective stacks $100.

Preflop: Hero is BB with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

Folds to blinds, SB raises to $3, Hero calls.

Flop: ($6) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif

SB checks, Hero bets $5, SB calls.

Turn: ($16) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif

Villain leads for $12, Hero calls.

River: ($40) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif

Villain leads for $35, Hero...?

These blocking bets look like a king, but sometimes it's a better king or a flush. I think a "typical loser" tries to stackadonk on the turn with a flush expecting trip kings to bet again and call too, but maybe villain is going for b/3b or is afraid of 2 pair taking a free card. I don't know, because villain's line is totally wacky. That makes me want to call, because when a line doesn't make sense it's more often a weak hand than a strong one.

weird line from villain but there's obv no way you can fold.

lol i also dont see how 21/10 is a typical loser, must be horrible postflop.

I didn't really discuss raising, but I don't like it. I considered it, but it's not going to work as a bluff or for value. No better hand (AK, small flush) is folding in this situation for the size of bet hero has left, and few worse hands are going to call. KJ-K9 is about it, and villain might even escape with those.

Orange,

If my wife does not know an opponent personally, she immediately assigns negative attributes to their character, personality, etc. I'm sure this player is fine.

I think as long as she calls the river this hand is played pretty well.
