i go all in for another $300
he instantly calls.

way to pansy bet it!

yeah i can see why it may look like a pansy betting, but on the flop i knew the only way id get paid off by someone with an A is to lead out and then induce a big bet on the river from them when i check. if i check call, they get suspicous and get scared.
i was check raising the river regardless, as people never like to fold to a check raise on the river. plus i had been watching the guy a lot and knew he was pretty aggressive when he saw an opportunity (which is why i was surprised he didnt raise on flop or turn).

anyways, that was fun.
