Someone posted this link in another thread, but I forget which thread and who it was =\. Props to them for finding it.

Sit tight, online gambling companies are working together to figure out ways to start processing once again using other methods. There is one master plan that could blow everybody's socks off but we've been asked not to comment on it, and we won't.

What do you think this could be? I've been trying to think of somethin new they could come up with but am drawing a blank. Comments on the article and the quote would be nice.

Jay,

The legislation forum isn't really the place for these kinds of threads. Don't be surprised if the mods move it to internet gambling.

How is this not part of legislation when it has to do with the bill and gaming sites going around it? Just curious.

Just because the bill resulted in the sites having to come up with new workarounds, doesn't mean all funding solution topics are legislation related. The zoo is the proper forum for discussion of these issues. If you want to talk about whether a new funding solution is legal via the bill or not, then that is appropriate, though not really relevant to us as players, since we aren't criminalized for continuing to play.

Well do you think there are legitimate funding workarounds for the bill?? As that what the article sounds like they may have come up with.

That's fine..I was just wondering. No prob with me if they move it..I just want to get a discussion started. Just glad no one yelled at each other to get our points across. =)

I think there is somethin that we aren't thinking of since we don't know every single detail of the bill as well as I'm sure they do. It'll be interesting to see what kind of workaround they come up with.
