With all this recent crap going down with echecks and no real way to instantly deposit or withdraw money. I pulled most of my BR out, hopefully will receive a check in the next month(fingers crossed). But after doing so i took a few bad beats to my depleted BR and now not really able to play the levels i like. which is 3/6 limit and 30 sit n goes. now i need a new gameplan that will net me a lot of FPPs with the least risk. im 1000 away from Goldstar and there is a couple prizes at that level i want to get before i am done with online poker.. any suggestions for the best/cheapest/surest way to get those 1000 FPPs... i now only have a lonely 200 bucks in my BR...

Don't panic like an old woman and pull out all your money and tie it up for a month because you can't withdrawl instantly.

Oppps! I guess you didn't do that.

$200 bucks, play two tables of 1/2 limit. Should be able to grind out 1000 FPPs fairly quickly.

How do you play 3/6 and not even reach Goldstar in the first place?

i was drunk when i came home and saw the news and probably overreacted. I just came back at the beginning of this year. so i lost my level. i was playing at B&M with friends weekly but most of them went broke due to the high rake there... a 120 buy in at a 10 man tourny the rake is 30 per buy in... ridiculous.

1/2 is not working... i just played for 2 hour and lost 90 bucks. sooo many fish. im looking back and i think i was ahead going into the river 75 percent of the time. but with so many fisherman out there one of the fishies would catch... looks like i might not be making it... down to last 90.. with 800 FPPs to go...

Keep on moving up until they respect your raises, then you've found the sweet spot.

If you can't win because there are too many fish, then instead of worrying about FPPs and getting Goldstar, maybe you should just buy a good book on poker and read it. I would suggest Winning Small Stakes Hold 'Em by Ed Miller.

I think he's screwed. My raises don't get respected at 10/20.

I have a Q about moving up in PokerSTars VIP levels and don't want to start a new thread.

To reach SilverStar, it says that I need 450 more VPPs by January 21, 2007.

If I don't get to that many by the end of January, do I have to start all over again in February?

Yeah the counter resets at the start of each month.
