I had a super-hard drinking night yday so Im gonna make it short:

Last year: 300$ deposit for a 300$ signup bonus. I clear it on blackjack and go on SUPER - TILT. I risk my entire funds on single hands several times and end up requesting a cashout for 1,1k.

7th of Jan : I play poker and go on SUPER - TILT, I cash out 1,900$ from FTP and deposit it at the American Grand. I also cancel the requested cashout for 1,1k.

5 minutes later: I take 3k and put it on one roulette spin. I win.

Same minute I cash out 2,5k and continue to gamble (small) for the rest of it.

Today I receive 2,200$ (1,900$ + 300$ , my deposits) and my account is closed down.

I write an email pretty much saying that they wont get away with this. Their response:

I love how people threaten casinos that can just take away their money

just write a nice letter apologizing, and if they give you the runaround go to casinomeister

why do people play on sketchy casinos

"I had a super-hard drinking night yday so Im gonna make it short:"

...

"I didnt threaten them."

... "and my money is already gone"

Did you go drinking "super-hard" before or after your money was gone ? Did you "not threaten" them while you were drinking "super-hard" ?

this kinda sounds like threatening

there are a handful of casinos that I'm comfortable putting money in, actually probably 15 with thousands of dollars, and american grand is definitely not one of them

mostly because I've never heard of them and I know about tons of casinos

lol... I dont find saying "you are not going to get away with this" a threat. If so, that might be because english isnt my mothertongue, I wrote them that.

I just went out drinking with my friend, when I came back I got the news. I have the mail here and I still dont find any threats.

Whatever, they took my money and THEN I wrote an email. So even if this email wasnt appropriate they must accuse me of something else to justify their actions.

And wtf, are you actually defending the casino? I dont care whether or not you ever heard of them. What I did might not be smart, still that doesnt make it right to confiscate 3k without ANY notification or accuse.

This is so obvious it shouldn't even need to be said but... ask them why they did what they did.

I totally agree that it's not right, and I definitely hope you get your money

what I've learned, and you will if you read the forum, is that most online casinos don't like paying off people who win there

the key is finding those that will pay you off with no problems when you win

betfair, mansion, betsson, partycasino, will hill, intercasino, casino365, victor chandler, and MAYBE planetluck/starluck would be places that I would trust thousands of my money

This should be about the 5th email you write in the thread. The first email should be "Hello, my account was closed, could you please explain why?" You are way way better off starting off being polite and getting an explanation, and only going off on super tilt if their explanation doesn't pass muster.

I'm not saying this casino is good or I agree with what they did - but, being polite (at least to start) is the better way to go.

Kind of strange, were I a casino operator I'd give OP a bonus or something to keep him playing at my joint.

They mention the fraud department so they are going down the line that there is something shady in your deposits or cash outs and a reason not to pay. However that doesn't make sense as they refunded your deposits.

Maybe they are trying a line that there is something wrong with your registration and using that as an excuse not to pay.

However then they get into something about 'good faith'!? Apparently they allowed you to register in 'good faith' (presumably in 'good faith' that you wouldn't win and withdraw). They also took your $2,200 in deposits and would have kept them if you lost. (Remember 'good faith' only works one way).

They are nice enough to say they want to end their relations with you in 'good faith'. You be nice to them and they will absolve you for your sins and they will keep your winnings.

Be nice to them, follow up with casino-mesister and, if your deposits are legit, you deserve and I hope you get your winnings back.
