I remember getting a mail from party about a change in mid january, about exchanging your partypoint to money and tournament fees.
Does anyone know when it will start, can't find anything on their site ?

Toady is the last day to use your points for merchandise. After that there is no guarantee your points will be worth anything.

You can now exchange partypoints for cash. 100pts = 1 dollar.

So, i make about $10/h in rakeback playing 100NL 6m (4 tables) on prima 30%)
That's about 200 raked hands pr/h = $0,50/h at party - CRAB

Are US residents unable to do this? I left some points on my Party account, but I can't even find the store on Party's web site.

Click MyAccount on the top of the web site. Log in and everything is in there.

When does the money show up? I opted out but my account was still at $0 so I opted back in and got the points back.

How fast? Well, I had my money in my account within 15 minutes of submitting the request yesterday afternoon.

Money appears straight away (1 second) and I cashed out straight away. I'm not in the US though.
When I goto www.partypoker.com (http://www.partypoker.com), on the top right of the screen there is a My Account button. Click that and log in. Hold the mouse over the tab "Players Club" on the top of the screen and a drop down should appear with "Details" in it. Click that.
Then click "Redeem Party Points"
Maybe it doesn't show for US customers. You need a minimum of 2500 points to claim.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't have a redeem link there, I guess US residents can't use the new store.

Try this direct link to the cash (https://secure.partyaccount.com/pc/merc_details.htm?INDEX=0)? (It probably still won't work for US residents of course.)

I got an error message when trying to get money for my 250K points. Wouldn't take 100K points either, but 50K points worked nicely and I got the money instantly all five times. $2500 beats the 20 inch samsung monitor I was thinking of ordering.
I'm not a us resident by the way.

They now have a Tournament Tickets category. However, in true Party fashion, the $215 ticket to the Sunday 200k costs 21500 points, which happens to be $215 worth of points, making the whole option meaningless.

Wow...I never realised you could redeem Party Points for real cash, albeit at a horrible rate.
Has this always been the case or is it new?
And how the [censored] do I miss everything always?
