I'm not feeling the re-reraise to 54 preflop. Call his reraise, and maybe lead on the turn to see what he does. I've found that AK screws me most of the time, and you want to minimize what you put in.

if ur gonna 4bet pf, then u have to bet flop
but with these stacks, 4betting pf is so bad to begin with....

Looks okay. There's really no amount you can bet on the flop without pricing yourself to get it all in, and given that he's put in 1/4 of the effective stacks in pre your fold equity isn't great.

I believe 4 betting preflop does minimize what the HERO puts in the pot. I would've gone to 40 or so to minimize it more. AK is a tough hand to play OOP verse a 3-better. Sometimes, I mix in the 4-bet because it makes the hand simpler. Usually, it will bring the pot down preflop at 6max. However, if it is called, it usually becomes time to fit-or-fold (yes, I hate that saying, but it sometimes works). It's good to mix it in so that your opponent doesn't think the 4th bet always means AA.

That being said, I like the move more verse a regular for a specific reason than verse an unknown.
