Go to Cashier/MyAccount. In there, there is link in middle of right column to "convert last week's points".

Is this cash for points scheme permanent?

CAn anyone provide an estimate of what this conversion works out to per table/per hour at 1/2 6max? With the changes at Absolute, it's time to find somewhere else.

there is only 35mins or so left in the promos current week. Do I gotta wait for this time to pass before I convert points from 5thJan-11th Jan.
an I cant see a link at all.

You have to wait until week is over before converting points.

Promotion is permanent, for so long as it lasts /images/graemlins/wink.gif

At 1/2 6max you get about $3 in bonus per table-hour. Points for cash will add $0.90 to $2.25 per hour to that depending on how much bonus you clear in the week.

Exactly as fast as your bonus does at 1000-2000 points. 50% faster at 2000+ and 40% slower at less then 1000.

Why would anyone not convert these points then? Are they good for anything else? Just to clarify - you can convert points to cash at any time now at UB? If so, this is pretty much like a bottomless bonus.

You can only convert points you earned during a promotion week. You must earn 750 or more points in that week and convert them within the next week.

Might as well convert them. Points are worth at most 0.4 cents a piece in the UB store, and 3 cents or more in points for cash.

How often do these promotion weeks run?

They have been running every week for a couple of months now.

Have you noticed a slow-down in bonuses in conjunction with this points promo? Seems like in the past there were a couple reloads per month...is that about right?

Also, do you convert the points within the poker software, or do you have to email them?

You convert the points within the software (as mentioned above).

I think their regular rate was $400 in bonuses every 6 weeks (post March 2006). They seem to have slowed recently, but they had extra bonuses in October.

Just doing some quick math for 1/2 6 max

The $650 bonus requires 6500 UB points. 0.5 points are earned for hands with 50 cents - $3 raked, so at 1/2 I would have to play 13000 raked hands to get the full bonus. Assuming only 40% of the hands meet the requirement, I"m looking at about 33,000 hands to clear the $650 signup bonus? This would put it in line with Absolute's new clearance rate.

You get partial points

So as a rule of thumb, how many hands would one have to play at 1/2 6 max to clear $10 of bonus?

Wow, that's a sweet deal. I've got nearly $4k in uncleared UB bonuses that I'm going to be trying to clear ASAP.
