I just made the serious mistake of not researching a casino before depositing. I searched here before and discovered that there was a bunch of confusion in regards to wagering requirements of a bonus but I took my chances and I made absolutely sure the I had the terms verified by online support before depositing.
They were nice enough to offer me an extra $50 if I deposited $220 instead of the "Manhattan Bonus" which is 100% up to $212. So, I deposited $220 and received a total of $270 in bonuses. I verified with online support (who offered me the deal) that the wagering requirement was 20x(B+D) before making a single wager. I also verified that Blackjack was allowed. I just wanted to cover all of my bases.
Half way through the run I asked online support how close I was to finishing my wagering requirement and our numbers agreed. So I finished off my wagering, cashed in $10 of comp points, verified again that I had met my wagering requirements to withdraw the full amount of $482.50. Online support agreed with me. I was able to withdraw according to them.
Then the fun begins.
The online cashier says I have not met my wagering requirements and I cannot proceed with a withdrawal. I speak to online support and the tell me to email support with the problem. I get an automatic response that the email was received and will be forwarded to the right department.
36 hours later... Nothing had happened up to this point. So I spoke to online support again and they suggested I call them. I called both their toll free and not-so-toll free numbers, neither of which worked. I'm Canadian so I should be able to reach their direct line. "The number you have dialed cannot be reached as dialed" for both numbers.
I speak with online support again and mention that the Kahnawake (sp?) Commission and Playtech would not be overly impressed with this and I gave them my home number. The "Casino Supervisor" called me within 20 minutes and promised that the situation would be escalated to the finance department where they would manually process the withdrawal after receiving documents proving I am who I am.
This is where the situation is at. This is more of a public service announcement as it serves me right for not researching ahead of time.
Cliff Notes: New York Casino = Unethical Business Practices, buyer beware.
Thank you for your time.
