View Full Version : *sigh* New York Casino Troubles (longish)

I just made the serious mistake of not researching a casino before depositing. I searched here before and discovered that there was a bunch of confusion in regards to wagering requirements of a bonus but I took my chances and I made absolutely sure the I had the terms verified by online support before depositing.

They were nice enough to offer me an extra $50 if I deposited $220 instead of the "Manhattan Bonus" which is 100% up to $212. So, I deposited $220 and received a total of $270 in bonuses. I verified with online support (who offered me the deal) that the wagering requirement was 20x(B+D) before making a single wager. I also verified that Blackjack was allowed. I just wanted to cover all of my bases.

Half way through the run I asked online support how close I was to finishing my wagering requirement and our numbers agreed. So I finished off my wagering, cashed in $10 of comp points, verified again that I had met my wagering requirements to withdraw the full amount of $482.50. Online support agreed with me. I was able to withdraw according to them.

Then the fun begins.

The online cashier says I have not met my wagering requirements and I cannot proceed with a withdrawal. I speak to online support and the tell me to email support with the problem. I get an automatic response that the email was received and will be forwarded to the right department.

36 hours later... Nothing had happened up to this point. So I spoke to online support again and they suggested I call them. I called both their toll free and not-so-toll free numbers, neither of which worked. I'm Canadian so I should be able to reach their direct line. "The number you have dialed cannot be reached as dialed" for both numbers.

I speak with online support again and mention that the Kahnawake (sp?) Commission and Playtech would not be overly impressed with this and I gave them my home number. The "Casino Supervisor" called me within 20 minutes and promised that the situation would be escalated to the finance department where they would manually process the withdrawal after receiving documents proving I am who I am.

This is where the situation is at. This is more of a public service announcement as it serves me right for not researching ahead of time.

Cliff Notes: New York Casino = Unethical Business Practices, buyer beware.

Thank you for your time.

I had problems with them too when I did them more than a year ago. Just like you I was treated more than well by the CS and given extra bonus and they confirmed that the WR was as I thought it was and so on...
When I tried to cash out I was denied just like you. I called them and the tried to pull the old "you can't withdraw the bonus.." on me, but luckily I had screenshots from the chat with the CS which I gave them and after a few more mails they surrendered.

So.. just stay persistant and don't give up and I think this will be sorted out.

LOL I posted about them when I did their initial bonus too...dont worry you are getting your money.

I played on New York for about 6 months....took about 5-6K in bonus off them. Their tuesday bonus was a weekly routine for me. I ended up probably in the range of about +4K with them before I stop casino whoring.

They have horrible support, its one of those mass support call centers that handle dozens of casinos, so they get confused sometimes. /images/graemlins/smile.gif ...and the cashier page pop up has to be disabled manually by a CS rep. Thats why its still saying that.

Just spam all their email addresses on their website daily until they turn off the pop up. My turn around took a few days the first time, and then no more than 24 hours for the 20 or so I did after that. They eventually started asking as soon as I logged in if I wanted a bonus, wheher one was publicly availible or not....but I was depositing 1K plus at a time with them as well.

Its a good, not widely known about bonus site. Ive got nothing but good things to say about them....after my fist withdrawl that is.

Mind you this was about 6 months ago, so things may have changed...Also...not to freak you out, but I was always told from them that BJ was not allowed for the bonus. I always autoplayed Paigow. You may want to check into this.

Gl,
Ill scour my email to see if I still have a contact person there... other than a CS rep, and Ill PM it to you.
