That is a bit of an overbet by him... if he doesn't have two pair than he has a huge draw and he's probably just trying to pick up the pot right there... or he thinks your on a draw or have something like AK and completely missed the flop and he has TPTK, but that's pretty unlikly unless you have some history on him that he's done this before.

I see but what if I were to have AA QQ or KK here? would that situation be the same?
