Seat 2: CO ($25.25)

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.75, CO calls, Button folds, SB raises to $7, BB folds, Hero calls, CO calls.

I called his 3bet in position. I think this is very standard against an unknown. I did put him on a very strong hand though, AA,KK are the most likely possibilities and maybe AK.

Flop: 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif ($21.5, 3 players)
SB bets $12, Hero calls, CO folds.

Villian makes a standard c-bet and I call him because AK has more variants than AA,KK. Thoughts?

Turn: T/images/graemlins/club.gif ($45.5, 2 players)
SB is all-in $37.15, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $37.15 returned to SB.

I concluded that very few villians at 50NL will be double barrel bluffing with AK and folded.

Results:
Final pot: $45.5

Does anyone play this hand differently?

Kind of a tough spot. I think AA/KK/AK is too narrow a range for an unknown, but if you give villain a range of (TT+,AdKd) then you have 33% equity and you're getting better than 2:1 on your money. So I think it's a crying call. I'm interested in what others have to say, though.

You're almost never good here IMO w/o reads. And judging by the fact that he makes it $7 pf, he's not a complete donk. Sometimes I just c/f flop, but I think you played it well.

There's a similar hand here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=8716313&an=0&page=0#Post 8716313).

I don't like a call without reads. I like the way OP thought here and I would probably play it the same.

Yeah Villian typed AA in the chat when I folded and I believed him.
