Do you ever 3bet PF when it is folded to button and he makes a standard raise? Not necessary, just curious.

I do not like check/call flop and turn at all, way too weak tight.

I raise to $4 or so postflop if you check. I definitely lead turn.

i dont see the point of betting. he is folding all worse hands.

So his only range of calling is TT+ ??

If you lead flop and turn, a lot of villians at these stakes will continue calling down with KXs, AXs, etc which are all in his folded to button standard raise range.

why not let him just keep bluffing at me then? i was prepared to fold river when that ace came to a large enough bet.

I don't see any hand we beat that villain doesn't bet again when checked to. check calling is fine IMO

I think usually I'd take the lead on the flop. You're not going to take down a big pot with this hand, so why not just try and grab what's out there? Your hand is pretty vulnerable. Why risk having to make a tough decision when a broadway card hits just to try and get an extra $1 or $2?

That said, I think these types of small pot hands can be played lots of different ways and are probably the best times to mix it up.

I agree with all this. I'd generally lead the flop. You don't stand to make much on this flop, and you'll be cringing with any broadway. In fact, I'd lead TT-QQ too.

edit: but I wouldn't be calling behind with QQ-TT so I guess that's a bad response.

I think i would definitely 3 bet BB here PF. The flop is lovely for you. Certainly would'nt check it. I think there is too many cards could come that would destroy your hand.
What do you do if any broadways hit and he wakes up?
Im new to nl though. Listen to better experience than myself. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
