HELP - Live chat doesn't work

I'm using a computer at my parents house and for some reason the live chat feature at a lot of sites doesn't work. I'm posting a pic of betroyalcasino as an example to show how the link looks like (there should be an image in there). Do I have to install something to make it work, like activeX or that kind of stuff? I don't know anything about computers. /images/graemlins/confused.gif
