PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($4.81)
SB ($2.17)
BB ($2.98)
UTG ($1.55)
Hero ($5.89)
CO ($3.95)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls $0.02, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.1</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $0.28</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $0.68</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $5.89</font>, SB calls $1.89 (All-In), BB calls $2.30 (All-In).

At higher stakes, i see my folding to the re-reraise, but At .01/.02 i just dont see myself folding kings preflop.

Given stack sizes this is an easy shove.

Yep. I think there's an FAQ about KK prefop. If not, there should be.

You're correct -- at higher stakes, where people are capable of putting you on KK+ at the four-bet, you might play it differently. Ciaffone/Ruben suggest calling the 3-bet at certain stack sizes to make it harder for your opponent to put you on a hand (i.e., get action from QQ or JJ).

At something really deep like 300 BBL stacks, you might be able to get away from KK. But at 5c and 100 BBL stacks go ahead and stick your whole stack in.

Then the answer is yes, but more than half of the time your destiny is to triple up.

the fact that BB put in the 2nd raise with 88 shows why you can't fold KK preflop at these stakes for less then 100bb.

At live $1-2 I've had several occasions where I just knew it was AA. It was AA.

Maybe there are other cases I've forgotten where I just knew it was AA, but it was JJ. SS Live games are pretty crazy anyway. I've only once folded KK preflop (to a limp reraise, and I'm 75% sure he wasn't lying when he said he had it -- he hadn't played anything else that way). Also folded QQ after a raise to a bizarre 8x pot limp-reraise by a solid player, but that was tougher and possibly incorrect.

But damn, when you just know it's AA and it is.... it makes you feel like a such a donkey. A donkey with good poker intuition, mind you.

I am thrilled to get all-in pre-flop w/ KK at $5NL, even at full ring games. I think you are destined to run up against anything from AJo to 33+.
