So I sit down at a table and post BB for the first hand. Usually I try to avoid
getting involved in any big pots before I have played two or three orbits and got at least a rudimentary idea of how people play.

Is this an easy fold? I am behind to the typicall limping hands QJ, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 77, (JJ most people raise though). A/images/graemlins/heart.gifT/images/graemlins/heart.gif is also a possible holding.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Button ($35.20)
SB ($24.65)
Hero ($50)
UTG ($52.10)
MP ($27)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($2) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2, UTG raises to $6, MP raises to $26.5, SB folds, Hero ???

I fold here, you aren't pot committed if you are lucky he has something like AQ, but one of them is more likely to have trips/straight. If they did make a move like this with a crappy hand, just stack them next time....

Yep, folding is probably the only option. Of course I decide to do the worst thing but managed to suck out /images/graemlins/smile.gif
