My girlfriend is going to start doing casino bonuses for a little side income (surprisingly, it will really be her doing the bonuses, not me gnoming). We share the same address. What is the general attitude from the casino sites towards players with same address? Is it often prohibited? And if it is, is the rule actually enforced? Probably depends on the site, but what are the general trends?

She wants to do everything legitimately, so using for example a brother's information is out of the question.

She can register to the sites from a different computer and different IP address than I have used.

general trends are that it is a no-no

Casinos track EVERYTHING

I was getting one of my mates into this and I was showing him from my computer - he created an account and everything - but did not get the bonus because the Casino had matched "something" between him and me.

I have a dynamic IP address so not sure it was that - and we were using his laptop - so that he could log on again from his home, so no cookies or anything.

They be devious them casinos and any excuse to deprive you the nthey will take.

Worst situation is actually depositing, gambling, winning and then having your funds confiscated because they think you are gnoming (hasn't happened to me coz I don;t gnome but I have heard horror stories)

A vast majority of bonuses are ONE PER HOUSEHOLD. You're out of luck if you don't want to use a different address.

Read the T&C, obviously.

Damn. And using a wrong address when signing up will cross the line to gnoming territory. Oh well.

So you were using a different IP and a different computer and they still connected you? How could this possibly happen?

He didn't make sure the IP had changed (it hadn't).

In case she is denied bonuses per the 'one bonus per address/household' clause, she claims you are the previous tenant.

Also: no problems with almost all pokerrooms and some monthlies like interpoker.

Oh, that's brilliant. You'll just have to make sure all the documents you email them if/when asked are dated properly so your story isn't blown.

Well, she can only provide documents for her account... and since she is the one living there right now the date shouldn't be a problem right? Or do you think they would request her to provide the previous tenants documents too?

No, but if she has lived there for a while, what if she scans a bank statement from say November 29th when the OP was doing a bonus in the same casino, meaning she was living there while OP was? That sort of thing.

But let's be crazy... let's say they DON'T send in any old documents... wow.. mindblowing!
