This is from my 'KQ' thread. If KQ is obviously a fold... I read some snippets about calling 55 here can be a leak? I think it was in the SSF and may just apply to higher games.

You tell me.

Also, please tell me a range you're playing here. I think my blind play may be a minor leak (although it breaks even w/ the ARTPB)

I call here. I'm not too familiar with this rule, but I think they call it the 5/10 rule. You can call up to 10% of you stack with low PP and LSC as long as your opponent has you covered. Don't quote me though.

If you think you can extract $64 from villain if you hit a set, it's a call. This is an auto-call to me. There are times villain has air, but there are also times he has higher PP's. This makes me more inclined to call if he's TAGgish and raising UTG. His range is narrower. I'm loving it if he's got AA-JJ as I'm pretty sure I can get $64 off him if I hit a set.

I used to auto-call this, but now I think it's marginal and can go either ways, depending on how you and villain play postflop. Obvly you'd lean toward a call w/ a full stack or more.

Reload preflop. I call all day. You can win a pot here and there too when you don't flop a set, eh.

4 handed, its WAY to dependant on your read on villian, besides just MT regular. If thats your only read, imo its a fold. Against some others, in most cases even, I think its a 3 bet. Against some a call who are more spewy/recent history. Against tough opponents, theres absolutely no shame in folding this hand. And reload preflop

fold or 3 bet. calling is a leak i think if he is any good. i would often call and c/r certain flops tho (with my air effectively since if called or 3 bet we shutdown)

no shame in folding

Why 3bet? We are OOP against an UTG raising TAG. 3betting is by far the worst option IMO since we are either crushed or a slight, slight favorite on only a small part of his range.

I think the decision isn't a no-brainer but should be a call since villain will have a great hand here a majority of the time which might stack off if we set the flop.

Or 3/8 rule if you prefer. Still a call.

umm, haupt, its 4 handed, raising UTG means almost nothing, specially not a monster
