he will pay more to draw if he is drawing, so bet more on the turn.

Meh, any bet on the river is good. He's on a draw here 85% of the time and won't call on the river. The other 15% of the time consists of hands he won't call a river bet with. Given that, I think the most value you can get out of this is doing something stupid, like betting $10-$15 on the river hoping for a raise.

You really want to end up OOP with 99 in a large pot? That's what's going to happen against this opponent.

You should be re-raising a much larger range than this in SB vs BB hands.

Re-raising pre is goot.

let the man play his style. as long as he doesnt fold it, let him play it how he wants to.

If villain is aggro I will 3-bet with any two broadways to defend my blind. But with 99 I don't want to resteal, I want to play a hand postflop...

Personally I think flat calling this hand pre against an aggro villian makes the hand really tough to play.

I think you will end up with too many tough tough flops combined with the likelyhood of this guy double barreling it often as well.

anything that calls 33 after calling a PFR is also calling 55 or 65 on the turn...I agree that you should do something stupid on the river...either push or bet like 10

Sure, he can do what he wants.
And his explanation makes sense.
Not sure I agree with how good it is, but meh.

Make it atlaest $65 on the turn. Often a flush/straight draw will pay you off at this point whereas you'll get no extra $ on the river if they miss.

Push the river

Anyway he called the river bet. Too pity mucked hands can't be seen this place...
