I really feel like i played this badly, I considered betting the turn for quite awhile then decided that if i bet what i should im committing myself if he indeed does have an overpair so i thought if i checked i could catch a diamond or a 3rd 9 or two pair, also, normally i fold to the 3 bet here but hes been doing it a lot and i wanted to make a point even if i had to show down a marginal hand, thoughts??

Seems fine bar the calling 3bet pf. He is going to show ak/aq at least 80% of the time here

your realize i beat AK AQ right? i dont really follow the he folds enuf to make it +EV? I really considered semi bluffing the turn but i really didnt want to put my whole stack if check raised all in..

i don't like semi bluffing, i think a lot of villain's hands that beat you could be c/r this turn, and all his potential holdings that would fold to your bet you're ahead of anyway. (AK,AQ)

Whoops. Thought you were open ended and picked up flush draw on turn.

Deleted earlier post, sorry for confusion /images/graemlins/smile.gif

As played, it's fine then.

I hardly play any 6 max at all, but people are really folding for $14 more in position with a playable hand? If that's the case I should play there and just increase my 3bet range to ATC. And on the topic of semi-bluffing you're ahead of AK/AQ with them drawing to about 4 outs I don't necessarily feel the need to bet that in position.

As played, this is absolutely fine. However...

I'm sure you can squeeze out a little extra money from him by betting something like $10 on the river. Even his obvious AK and AQ is likely to call getting 12:1.

Fold preflop, although I might call given small size and position

Postflop is fine
