Theoretical.

One you have doubled up on the first hand of baccarat it is still immensely profitable to continue betting it all on one hand correct? 4x targeting the D+B seems to be much more profitable than 2x targeting, and 8x targeting more profitable still. If my thought process is correct, the value of the bonus is approached assymptotically as the multiplier increases.

Thoughts?

You are correct. The EV increases with the increase of risk of ruin, however, the generally accepted tradeoff is at four times the balance of the account.

Boo. No helping! Calculating EV as a function of RoR and WR takes some people *ahem* a lot of time and effort. No freebie hints for the clueless, plzktks.

Theoretically, you would do better to play BJ than baccarat, betting less than 50% of your balance.

Are we hoarding excel formulas now? Bonuswhores mentality taken a bit too far.

yeah but with BJ if you win and don't use the doulbe down, you're only up 50% whereas in baccarat you're up 100% (or close to if you play banker). The small edge given up is worth it imo.

Yes, and clearly not. Besides, I'm responsible for the biggest win (and biggest headache) you (or probably this entire message board) will ever have.

More of a story to tell the kids than a win really.
