villain is kinda donkish. He has me covered and I'm about 170BB deep.

villain is MP+1, and limps after UTG. Two more limpers and hero limps A/images/graemlins/spade.gifJ/images/graemlins/diamond.gif on BN. SB folds, BB taps.

Flop (pot 15) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gifK /images/graemlins/spade.gif3 /images/graemlins/club.gif
BB checks, UTG checks, MP+1 fires out 15, MP+2 folds, HJ calls, Hero callss, BB folds.

Turn (Pot 60) T /images/graemlins/club.gif
MP+1 fires out 30, MP+2 folds, Hero calls.

River (Pot 120) 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
MP+1 fires out 25, Hero calls.

Standard?

preflop is definitely a raise, this hand has pretty much pair value only so you want to cut down the number of ppl to the flop.

after that calling is probably best but this is 1/2 live and i could see a small value river raise.

This is the whole reason I limp in position. Building a pot with a hand for pair value when deep is bad news. I'm really only raising solid hands here that have decent implied odds. Maybe 66+/AQs+

That and if I raise. I end up going 4 or 5 way to the flop instead of 7 way. Despite my image as nit of century.

Why?

What better hands fold and what worse ones call?

Flop and turn are goot...I don't like raising either.

Edit: I thought about a river minraise, but I'm not sure what hand you beat calls a raise.
