Reads: Villain is 19/6 over 50 hands and not very good. We have played 2 big pots together.
First hand, I open from CO with KK. He calls out of SB with AQ. He leads flop for $28 into $36 and turn $48 into $84 on a QT68 rainbow board. The river is an A and gets checked through.
The next hand, I open from button with Ts8s. SB calls and he calls with 4s3s. Flop is Ks9s7s. Checked to me, I 3/4 pot, SB calls, he pushes, I call, SB calls and wins with As2s.

I call the flop here hoping to take it away on a later street. At the time, I figured he would lead with most solid top pairs and he couldn't be too strong.

The turn is an easy call. If he is bluffing, I want him to continue to do so. If he is betting a J, I don't want him to fold it now. Raising gets action from all better hands.

But what about the river? Surely he never double barrel bluffs with any missed draws and he is never value betting a J right? I told myself on the turn that I have to fold to a river bet because it's never a bluff, but then the A hit. Also, if he was bluffing, wouldn't a smaller bet have the same amount of FE.

Oh, and I have 280 behind on river if that makes a difference.

What can he possibly have here that you are ahead of? AQ? AT? Why would those c/r the flop? From the previous hands you mention, villain is aggressive but not insane with made hands. No indication that he's bluffy or spewy.

I would fold flop and call river.
