I checked the flop instead of leading out since the flop wasn't very drawy, and I hoped to induce a bluff. Would leading out still have been better? Also, what size would you make the turn and river bets?

C/C flop isn't bad if he's aggressive, I'd lead for more on turn/riv since I doubt he's folding a queen (let alone an ace) at this limit.

i'm not a fan of opening a pot pf and then check/calling the flop HU. i like a lead on the flop then c/r turn or c/c and lead the river

Lead flop, bet closer to the pot on turn. That way pot size would be nice for a shove at the river.

As played bet more on the river.
