Lot of chat about this hand. I was one of the players. How did we do?

FullTilt $50 9-handed

3bets often take it down preflop and consequently, many player don't 3bet AA or KK.

Both players are ~ 20/9/3 TAGs and effective stacks are $46

1 fold, Player1 raises to $2 with J/images/graemlins/club.gif J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4 folds, Player2 calls with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Blinds fold

Flop ($5.25) 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Player1 bets $4, Player2 calls

Turn ($13.25) 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif J/images/graemlins/spade.gif

Player1 bets $9, Player2 is all in $40, Player1 calls

fine, except player 2 should usually 3bet pf to build a pot up.

I also think player 1 should bet a bit more on the turn, try to build a pot up

Noob question - What reason does Player2 have for calling the flop bet? If Player1 is CB'ing and folds, so be it, Player2 learns a bit about Player1 in that instance and Player1 now has to think twice of CB'ing in the future. Otherwise, Player2 builds a pot with and over-pair and nut-flush draw.

As a noob, I'd always raise if I were Player2. Line check?

deception is good every once in a while, but yeah you should usually raise this
