This guy has good stats but doesnt seem to be a great player. I think I should raise the flop here but AK is definatly in his range of course. What do you think?

Raise the flop. If he comes back at you, you can release it.


Also, what happened? You run well to move back up to 50 NL? You might want to grind it more at 25 NL or lower first...

How is raising the flop good? Doesn't that just fold out worse hands and induce more action from better hands?

I like the line taken by OP, but I would fold the river, as I can't see AJ playing like this.

Also, I would rr more PF.

No, he wants to contend in the pot so he might not have you, reraise the flop and if he pushes or calls you gather information and know where you stand, then you can head from there. This is the best way to assess where you are at in the pot.
