Good spot for a continuous bet, play them like you had aa/kk.

Its a raised pot, 3 I think is too much.

its a raised pot. you better bet 3+ or else he is going to be holding on with nothing. definitely cbet, paired flop, if he calls you are done

You should never be betting less than 3/4 the bet in a cbet. If you do, you're giving other players proper implied odds, and maybe even pot odds to call you down.

I agree with this. But if called, we're getting the rest of our stack in the middle if an A or K hits the turn, right?

When your playing in a reraised pot your unlikely to be against draws, most likely pairs and sets. So half pot is normally enough.

No. You neglect stack sizes in your reasoning. This is a reraised pot.

I bet about 2/3 here always.

shaddux, you just recommended a bet of about 2.5. that seems intuitively small. could you explain your logic in depth? i still believe that a decent holding, especially a mid pocket pair, would look you up for a bet that small.

A mid pocket pair is never ever folding on this board anyways. Maybe if you shove turn as well. $2.50 is fine.

I repeat: because unless you and your opponent are both deep stack, in a reraised pot you face pocket pairs and broadway cards. Not SC's. Hence, there will be close to no draws.

He's too short to shove turn. Its a flop shove /images/graemlins/smile.gif I expected a PP, but was surprised by what I saw /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh meh. I didn't look at stack sizes. Yeah, I'd shove flop with these stacks.

Shoving on the flop is going to increase FE, right?

My line was going to be bet $2.75-$3.25, getting yourself stuck, anyway.

Shoving, tho. Nice.
