I think I made the right decision here, the villians stats were 21/14/2. It isnt much just tell me what you think.

I don't like the open-limp with ATo. If you are going to play it, you need to raise it up or fold it.

The flop is fine, as is the turn. The river is a different beast altogether. The 2 completes double belly straight draw(45) so it's possible the opponent stuck around till then. It is also possible opponent slowplayed a set till the river.

I see a lot of players at the lower limits making these large bets on the river when they haven't shown aggression, and usually it's with a really good hand. I tend to believe most smaller stakes play straightforward and I can find reason to fold the river.

yeah i really dont know what i was thinking with the open limp, guess i was tired, but I felt when he went all in I put him on 45 for the double belly buster or he might have been slowplaying the set.

I think you're good here a good bit of the time. I seriously doubt this guy chases you down w/ a gutshot but anything is possible. A set is way more likely IMO. I tend to play top 2 like the nuts when there are no straights/flushes out there.

well the 45 wasnt really a gut shot, just a double belly buster and right now as I think more about this hand is that I really dont think he wanted me to call unless he new I was in a position on where I had to call and he had the straight or set, but Im starting to think more that I was winning the hand.

Raise preflop and avoid these nasty situations. Open-limping with anything but a pair makes me want to puke.

I wouldn't even play ATo from UTG..

With the overbet I think its more likely villain picked up 2 pair..But 45 is certainly in his range..45 I think he goes for a C/R..
