Pontoon has much higher variance than BJ though, and only marginally better HA

In fact Single Deck Blackjack has a much better HA but requires $25 minimum stakes, so not for the faint hearted (althoguh the variance is generally ok)

Wizard of Odds lists the house edges of the discussed games as:

Single Deck BJ -- 0.07%
Pontoon -- 0.38%
Standard BJ -- 0.49%

Variance of final returns depends on both the variance of the game and bet size. Some 1SD range of returns for the above games with a $100 bonus with 30xB wagering are below. The order is from lowest variance and chance of bust to highest variance and chance of bust.

Standard BJ with $1 bets: $25 to $140 -- Chance of gain =~92%
Pontoon with $1 bets: $10 to $165 -- Chance of gain = ~87%
Standard BJ with $5 bets: -$50 to $215 -- Chance of gain = ~74%, Chance of bust = 18%
Pontoon with $5 bets: -$90 to $265 -- Chance of gain = 68%, chance of bust =~30%
Single-deck BJ with $25 bets: -$200 to $395 -- Chance of bust = ~45%?
Standard BJ with $25 bets: -$210 to $375 -- Chance of bust =~50%
Pontoon with $25 bets: -$305 to $480 -- Chance of bust = high

I'd generally recommend standard BJ with smaller bets. However, if you have a high risk tolerance, then pontoon or single-deck BJ can be good choices as well. You could combine the games and by starting out high variance ($25 single-deck BJ), then switching to low variance (low bet standrd BJ), if you get far enough ahead.

Also note that different Crypto casinos have different bonuses. On some all of the above games are not allowed. At some casinos single-deck BJ has a lower max bet size than $25.

Clearing Will Hill monthly 25GBP, up 20GBP after wagering 50% @ Multihand BJ 5 hands $1 each, then proceed to lose everything in the next 30 minutes....

Clearing InterCasino monthly $100, up $100 after wagering 43% @ Pontoon flatbetting $5, then proceed to lose the $100 profit when I switch to Multihand BJ 5 hands $2 each in approx. 30 minutes...I take a 20 hour break and come back, this time flatbetting $7 Pontoon until I drop to $140....I switch to Single Deck Blackjack and that is where I lose the rest of my money....

How the hell can the dealer keep dealing himself 19s, 20s, and 21s every other hand and busting 1/8 times?

On a side note, I'm going to think twice before doing Littlewoods. Dropped $300 there in the past 3 monthlies.

With Intercasino, you can also try the Video Poker. The best version is 'Double Bonus', which has a payback of 99.1%. The main advantages are

a) it is good fun, unlike blackjack, and
b) there is only an 18x wager requirement.

Variance is of course greater, but who cares in the long run?

Disadvantage is that you gotta learn the strategy?

Google "Double Bonus Video Poker Strategy" and ye shall find.
