This is about betting all the streets, not just the river

this guy is one of the worst 50NL players I have seen, (plan is to just follow everywhere he goes /images/graemlins/grin.gif)

o.k. he's sooo loose pf and I mean open-limping and calling a raise with K4o type of loose (76 VPIP - 200 hands), plus he never raises! I saw him limping AK,JJ otb. When the flop comes out: will call bets with any pair and sometimes A high (on paired board) will fold a large turn bet w/o TP though. Only ever raises a good 2 pair or higher, he never bluffs, just checks (or calls) everything down.

So I think me not betting this flop is a mistake and I was losing value. What do you think?

bet the flop for sure .. don't let this donk hit a crazy 2 pair or somthing like that for free

someone with a range like he plays is almost impossible to read ..bet the flop and turn... check the river if he calls both bets.. by then u must give him credit for a Ace

I always cbet this flop. Against this player it makes even more sense to do so. If I was called I guess you should keep vbetting as villain's range is very wide and not just an A.

US, I used to play this hand just like you did against similar opponents, but after reading some replies I think they are right. He obv is limp/calling any A pf but he could have a bunch of stuff too that he calls down with. I think I will try value betting in spots like these.

2/3 c-bet on flop, if called id bet 1/2 pot on turn and 1/4 pot on river.

BTW, this has nothing to do with the hand but when you are playing against somebody like this open pushing AA preflop is a very profitable moved if they DO raise in front of you, a lot of people think this is terrible play and against all but the worst it is, yet they seem to fall in love with QQ and call 80% of the time I do this.

Ye, bet the flop. Ace is like a couple percent of his holdings.
