Raise more PF out of position. I dont care if you have AA. Bump it to 5 PF, then pot the flop with the draw out there. Call it down from there

PF raise is fine.

3 bucks from the sb is a good PF raise? Thats not even 4 X the BB. Sorry I have to disagree. I raise that to 5 all day, if they dont want to call thats fine. Your inviting people to suck out on you with a 3 dollar raise.

Thats a 6 BB raise. Maybe you misread the hand but this is NL50.

If you were going to call a bet on the river, I would have bet the river. CO's keeps betting less than half the pot, which from my limited experience a blocking bet, smaller pair, or top pair weak kicker. Since he was perfectly willing to call the preflop raise, I would guess Qx or a small pocket pair. What did he actually have?

He had A9 of hearts.

That kind of sucks.

After hearing what villain had, I can't tell if he was a moron, or if he had a read on you. Had the manner in which you played earlier hands shown that you would have shut down when the third heart hit and villain made a bet close to pot size?

I think this line is fine, you can't really fold to such small bets.

No, we did not play many hands together. I just sat down at the table like 50 hands before and nothing special had happened so far. In the end, I was glad he bet so little on the river. I think, I would have called a bigger bet as well...
